“Before the program I could lose weight but would quickly gain it back. I felt like a failure. I blamed my body and hated the struggle. Now I’ve stabilized my weight and have not gained any back. There is no sacrifice. It feels as though I'm nurturing myself, not denying myself. It would feel harmful and crazy to eat the sugar/carbs I craved before.
I am no longer bingeing. I do a daily yoga practice and love it and I am back walking and sprinting three times a week. I’ve gained a peacefulness around food and weight loss. I am happy and well and the changes are so ingrained that I really had to stop and realize that the good habits are now second nature. I feel self assured and happy and have even gained a playful wonder at trying out relationships! I love that I am leaving the course with tools to fall back on when I feel overwhelmed or vulnerable. Before Body Breakthrough I didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning. I was dependent on Coke and coffee and stress was causing me to make bad food choices. Now I’m happy to get up in the morning and I’m feeling good about myself. I’m a lot less stressed and find I now deal with stressful situations by tapping my way through them, which has been so rewarding.
Eliminating the need for coffee and Coke was not something I thought was possible, but I’ve done it! I now have respect for how I feel and look after my body – both tapping and meditation have been my saviour. - TW
